The Report

Most of the data on the $30 trillion wealth transfer is Western-oriented. Yet India is already experiencing one of the largest wealth transfers in its history — and there is a need for India-specific insights that reflect the reality on the ground.

The Ownership Shift report is built on the belief that only data speaks. It unveils key insights on wealth, ownership, and legacy in India, examining how the next generation is redefining capital, stewardship, and legacy — and will be released globally.

Why Wealth Shift

Women and the next generation are leading the most significant wealth transfer in history.

By 2030, $30 trillion moves into new hands

Women and the next generation are leading the most significant wealth transfer in history. More than $30 trillion is expected to move into their hands by 2030 — a pivotal moment for institutions, brands and founders to reconnect with a new class of investors, leaders and decision-makers.

The Wealth Shift by Encubay is committed to accelerating financial literacy, investment confidence and access to capital — so this transfer translates into real ownership, not just inheritance.

“In the next 5 years, $30 trillion is going to pass into the hands of women, and they’re going to control over 50% of the global wealth.”
